- Habit Definitions & Goals: Habit names, descriptions, selected icons, hex colors, goal targets (Boolean, Count, or Duration), and schedule recurrence patterns.
- Check-in Logs & Streaks: Daily check-in completion records, timestamps, numeric counts, and streak progress.
- Social & Group Interactions: Friend connections, public/private group memberships, group challenge check-ins, encouragements/reactions, user block lists, and submitted reports.
- App Preferences: Preferred language selection (English / Bangla), theme mode (Light / Dark / System), and notification preferences.

We NEVER sell, trade, or rent your personal information or habit records to third parties or advertising networks. Your data is used strictly for the operation of Ovvash Bondhu.

- Synchronize your habit records across your devices
- Enable friend search, group challenges, and community interactions
- Send local daily habit reminders you have opted into

- Local Storage: Cached locally on your device using Android's Room Database and DataStore for seamless offline tracking.
- Cloud Synchronization: Syncs securely with Google Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication when connected to the internet.
- Encryption in Transit: All cloud communications are encrypted using HTTPS / TLS 1.3 protocols.
3. Data Sharing & Visibility
You have control over the visibility of your habit data:
- Private Habits: Visible ONLY to you. Not shared with any other user.
- Friends / Group Habits: Visible ONLY to approved friends or fellow members of groups you join.
- Public Challenges: Challenge entries are visible to fellow participants in that specific challenge.
4. Data Security & Safety
Your data security is enforced through:
- Transport Security: All network traffic is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS via official Firebase SDKs.
- Database Security Rules: Declarative Firestore Security Rules restricting document access to authenticated owners (`isAuth()`).
- Android App Sandboxing: Local Room database files are protected within your device's app sandbox.
5. Account & Data Deletion Rights
🗑️ Complete Account Deletion (Play Store Compliant)
You have the absolute right to delete your account and all associated data at any time:
- In-App Deletion: Go to Settings ➔ Danger Zone ➔ Delete Account. This immediately purges your profile, habits, check-in history, friend requests, and group entries from Cloud Firestore and local device storage.
- Email Request: Alternatively, email decodersifat@gmail.com to request account deletion within 24 hours.
6. Children's Privacy
Ovvash Bondhu is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account without parental consent, please contact us for immediate account removal.

Ovvash Bondhu requests only minimal Android permissions necessary for its core features:
