1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Ovvash Bondhu ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ovvash Bondhu. Please read them carefully before using the App.
2. Use License
2.1 Grant of License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Ovvash Bondhu for personal, non-commercial habit tracking, self-improvement, and social group features strictly in accordance with these Terms.
2.2 License Restrictions
You agree NOT to:
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notice (including copyright or trademark notices)
- Use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose
- Attempt to bypass security rules or gain unauthorized access to Firestore collections or user records
- Distribute, sublicense, or resell the App to any third party
3. User Generated Content (UGC) & Community Guidelines
🛡️ Community Safety & Moderation
Ovvash Bondhu provides social group features, public challenges, display names, and encouragements. Zero tolerance is enforced against abusive, objectionable, or harassing content.
3.1 Acceptable Use Guidelines
When participating in social groups, friend interactions, or creating challenge descriptions, you agree NOT to post or share content that is:
- Hateful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or threatening to others
- Obscene, pornographic, or containing sexually explicit material
- Promoting violence, self-harm, or illegal activities
- Infringing on intellectual property or trademark rights
- Spam, unauthorized marketing, or deceptive phishing links
3.2 Reporting & Blocking Features
Ovvash Bondhu provides built-in tools for reporting and blocking:
- Report Content/Users: Tap the options menu on any user profile or group screen to submit a report to administrators.
- Block Users: You may block any user to immediately hide their profile and restrict interaction.
- Moderation Action: Administrators reserve the right to review reports, remove objectionable content, and permanently ban accounts violating these rules.
4. Account Security
Authentication is handled securely via Google Sign-In and Firebase Auth. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your device and registered Google account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your authenticated profile
- Keeping your device software up to date
5. Privacy and Account Deletion
We respect your data privacy rights under Google Play Developer policies:
- Your habit data is stored securely using Room Database locally and Cloud Firestore remotely.
- In-App Deletion: You may permanently delete your account and all associated habit data at any time via Settings ➔ Danger Zone ➔ Delete Account.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
The Ovvash Bondhu app, design system, UI assets, logos, and custom habit tracking components are the exclusive property of Ovvash Bondhu and its developers. Unauthorized copying or distribution is strictly prohibited.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED APPSERVICE, ABSOLUTE ACCURACY OF HABIT STREAKS, OR ERROR-FREE SYNCHRONIZATION UNDER POOR NETWORK CONDITIONS.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OVVASH BONDHU SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for accounts that engage in severe policy violations, abuse of social features, or attempt security breaches.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect app updates or regulatory policies. Continued use of the App following posted changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
